Located in Ellington CT, Muddy Brook Potters is the collaboration of the events of a lifetime and the people who I love. I came back to the clay arts in 2005 after a 35+ year hiatus. And that return would not have been possible without the unfailing participation of my family. 
This website is intended to familiarize you with my work and thoughts about making pots that I hope will bring art into a useful place in your life.

Firing mainly with wood has proven to be providential, humbling, and for me exceptionally exciting.
Firing a wood kiln is a community affair and the opportunity to have our family and friends participation in the creation of my own artistic expression has proven to be one of the most rewarding aspects of falling in love with making wood fired pots.
